HOW TO SET DISTANCE FROM THE HEAVY BAG AND IN AND OUT FOOT WORK DRILLS (BOXING, KICKBOXING, MUAY THAI)






Watching people throw their punch and kick combinations looks so easy and fun to do. It makes you want to try it out right away. As a beginner, it's very important to know first the basics of boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai anything in general before you get to do the cool stuff like flying kicks or superman punches. 

Some people want to get straight to it and not thinking about the main foundations of techniques. It may be boring at first, but trust us, patience goes a long way. Once you've mastered the art of learning the basics, with a little practice, you'll see how easy it gets when you learn how to do more complicated forms and combinations. 

To be able to reach the overall development of techniques for boxing and kickboxing you must be able to do the following drills such as pad works with the coaches, using heavy bags and strength and conditioning which includes shadow boxing. Choosing only one of these is only one third of the whole training defeating the purpose of learning and progressing in the particular activity. 

In this video, coach Alan will teach you one of the important drills using heavy bags by setting proper distance and foot work drills.
